2015: The Triumph of Evil or "What Happened?!"

These are momentous times. I fear there will be a point in the foreseeable future - say 2015 - that we'll ask ourselves, "how could we've let this happen, again!". My fear isn't based on phobia (of whatever variety), or on a vague gut feeling, female intuition or on obsessively reading the papers. It is not even based on historical parallels. Rather, my fears are the result of ice cold reasoning and analysis of the essentials.

This blog discusses with some intensity the intricacies of Subjectivism and its fallacies as espoused by the various branches of the Left over the centuries - including Right wing Socialism - and how these ideologies developed out of the Counter-Enlightenment movement started by Rousseau.

No matter what guise the particular variety takes, the end result is always the same: repression, followed by carnage and tragedy, born out of good intentions towards the common good. And if present developments on the world stage aren't deceiving us, the fallacy they stubbornly hang on to may come to cost us dearly once again. Since the wars of the last centuries the stakes are up and the technical means for industrial scale genocide have hugely improved.

The central philosophical con trick of all Collectivist thought (meaning: the opposite of individualism, covering the far Right (negligible in numbers), and first and foremost all of the Left of the political spectrum) is perpetrated in order to accommodate the lie, so that the ideology may survive yet another generation: it is the denial of Reality and with it, the rejection of right and wrong, good and bad.

This amorality has become a problem of Biblical proportions as adherents because of it, do not recognize Evil, even if it bit them in the behind. And because of the Left's unwillingness to concede defeat of their bankrupt ideology, the Left is also incapable of fighting Evil.

Psychologist/blogger Dr Sanity in a brilliant post "Strange Love: How they learnt to stop worrying and love the Iranian Bomb" described it like this: "Recent articles in the MSM (see here and here) suggest that the left is gearing up for an all out assault on the possibility of war with Iran. They intend to do this by using the talking point that "they can live with a nuclear Iran." ... In fact, we can translate (that) into "learning to live without Israel and the Jews". Because that is what the practical consequence of this leftist line of reasoning amounts to."

The doctor is as incisive as ever! But as the tally at present stands at 110 million victims for the whole of Counter-Enlightenment philosophies, who's to blink at a genocide more or less if it's done in the name of universal common good?! An amoral act of cowardice is better than having to fight any war, however morally justified, right?

Anybody who'd take the trouble of objectively thinking about the proposition before us, throwing momentarily aside psychopathology and the habitual ideological blinkers, would have to admit that such are the consequences of letting Iran off the nuclear hook.

But because of the central lie at the base of the ideology, they are unable to look at any given situation with anything remotely resembling objectivity. It enables them to maintain the ideology, but at the price of amorality and consequently, a blind spot for Evil.

The declaration in Subjectivist circles that God is dead has been epitomised by the proto Nazi philosopher, Friedrich Nietzsche. After World War II the Left have personified Adolf Hitler as the Horned One himself, thus creating a straw man for Evil. With Hitler's demise in the Berlin bunker, Evil died with him. As a result, the Leftist dogma has become that every issue can be resolved by talk and diplomacy.

The danger of this undertaking is that they run the risk of becoming Evil themselves. Their unwillingness to even consider their error, means risking the lives of another 100 million human beings. This is no political game, or a feeble discussion about up-tight morality. Existential issues are at stake, to put it mildly.

Recently re-reading some of the works of writer C.S. Lewis I stumbled upon 'Miracles' in which he refutes the Subjectivist fallacy by yet other means than set out in the PMF. In 'Miracles' Lewis is proving why - what at the time were termed Naturalists (or Materialists, Darwinians, atheists) - cannot maintain their faith in the human capacity for reason, and simultaneously assert an evolution process through natural selection.

Today's Postmodern Left have solved the issue by saying goodbye to Truth altogether, but in Lewis' time, in the evolutionary's book - absent a Designer - there could not considered to be such a thing as Truth prior to the event of thinkers, who could make the moral distinction between right and wrong.

This is the idea of Subjectivism in its full glory or, 'if I die overnight, will the sun still be rising tomorrow?', or 'if planet Earth is destroyed by an attack of giant squirrels from outer space and no human is left, this cannot be considered an immoral act (as only humans can say that it is).

Naturalists explain the world in terms of an endless chain of Cause and Effect. >>> The entire article is published on "Politeia".

It is invariably interlinked with the Lie."

Of Palestinian Pincers, Terror and Crime, again

Does anyone know a way out of this pincer movement?

Hamas:

- Haaretz: "Meshal: Upcoming Middle East conference is doomed to fail"- "The U.S.-sponsored international conference on Israeli-Palestinian peace is doomed to fail because it will serve only Israel's interests, Hamas political leader Khaled Meshal said in a CNN interview broadcast on Monday. >>>

Fatah:

- Jerusalem Post: "Summit failure may ignite new intifada" - "A failure in the upcoming US-sponsored Middle East peace conference would have more dangerous repercussions than the botched Camp David summit in 2000, Fatah officials warned on Tuesday. This was the first time senior Fatah officials hinted at a possible wave of violence if the conference - expected to be held in Annapolis, Maryland, next month - did not meet the Palestinians' demands. >>>

- Daily Mail: "Police raid finds £50m Da Vinci masterpiece in a lawyer's office"- "A stolen Leonardo da Vinci masterpiece was recovered in a raid on a lawyer's office yesterday. Police officers interrupted a meeting during which it is understood a deal to buy the £50million painting was being negotiated. Four men were arrested and are due to appear in court today. The Madonna with the Yarnwinder, painted in 1501, was taken from a castle belonging to the 9th Duke of Buccleuch, Britain's largest landowner, four years ago. >>>

- Elsevier: "Saint Martin centre of global narcotics trade" - "The Caribbean island of Saint Martin is an important centre for international narcotics trafficking, and through it also money flows to terrorist organisations. This is the conclusion of the Dutch Ministry of Justice in a confidential report on 'Organised crime and law enforcement on Saint Martin'. The report, dating back to June, speaks of an 'important and multi-purpose role concerning (international) drugs trade'. The Antilles island functions as a port of transit not only for cocaine, but also for heroin, marijuana and synthetic drugs. Moreover, local law enforcement agencies mention a flow of funds to terrorist organisations through the island. Large sums of money, the proceeds of drugs and human trafficking, arrives on bank accounts of organisations connected to the Taliban and Hamas. According to American intelligence, on the island itself are terrorists who have been trained in Al Qaeda training camps and are barred from flying to the United States. The Ministry of Justice report cautions the credibility of the information, but does stress that American intelligence agencies are not optimistic concerning crime and law enforcement on the island."

Ahmadinejad Weekend!

Mahmoud 'The Nuke' is honouring New York with a visit! Let's celebrate with a video, straightening the MSM sponsored revisionism in the process:

Hat tip Atlas Shrugs

Gina Cobb has a lovely story for the true MSM hater! My new improved title: "Stupid, Lazy AND Dishonest".

Of Censors, Norks and Virtual Itinerant Reporting

The auto censoring machinations at the MSM spin factories have created an interesting derivative, almost reminscent of the time of earliest printed newspaper: the itinerant reporter! The news as it happens (as opposed to 'the news as we like to report it') - the items that the MSM is suppressing, doctoring or manipulating - is being picked up by the bloggers and other niche reporters.

This week concentrated on the Stop Islamization of Europe (SIOE) demo on 9/11 in Brussels, which was ninety percent MSM suppressed and some ten percent re-framed/selectively emphasized. Now that the dust is settling it can be said it is no surprise that participation was low, as large numbers of would be picketers were hauled in by the police, long before even reaching the place of action. Here's one astonishing account.

I am suspending endorsement by this blog of the SIOE, until some leadership issues have been settled satisfactory: the removal of my critique, while it is dealt with by the British Branch in the usual defensive terms, is but the last straw. I do owe the readershipan account of the day's press conference. Here it is. Skender has the latest slide show.

In all the suspense and emotion the virtual itinerant reporter might almost overlook a mighty interesting article that was published in the MSM, in this case in today's Times Online: an account of how Israel this week flattened Syria's nork pile: "Israelis 'blew apart Syrian nuclear cache' - Secret raid on Korean shipment":

"It was just after midnight when the 69th Squadron of Israeli F15Is crossed the Syrian coast-line. On the ground, Syria's formidable air defences went dead. An audacious raid on a Syrian target 50 miles from the Iraqi border was under way ... As a bonus, the Israelis proved they could penetrate the Syrian air defence system, which is stronger than the one protecting Iranian nuclear sites. >>>

Open letter to Nice, Leftist people

Every once in a while I receive messages from mainstream Leftists who tell me that they too want to defend the freedoms and rights of Western democracy against the encroaching theocracy of Islam. They should know they are dissenters in the face of the recent EuroParl Socialist Group's claims of leading the condemnation of the "Stop Islamization of Europe" movement. I consider them from hereon the political Owners of this vital subject in Europe.

With them are any number of local and national Leftist parties that are also overtly siding with Islam, if only because they cannot resist the attraction of the 'bloc' vote; but there are similarities of an ideological nature between Islam and the Left as well, worthy of a dedicated post in the near future.

In the past I would have said, okay, we have a common cause: let there be a coalition and let's set aside our differences for the moment. Not anymore. Here are a few reasons why.

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, but the "Stop Islamization of Europe" (SIOE) 9/11 demo in Brussels has been prohibited by the Left wing Mayor of that city. This has come about as the result of the Left's legalised redistribution of speech rights to unequal minority groups at the expense of universal equality and the established majority. [1]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, but they have left brave Muslim apostates, freedom lovers like Ayaan Hirsi Ali in the lurge. Instead she's accused of being a Liberal fundamentalist, whereas intolerant critics are excused. While many Leftists are converting to Islam, there are also a great number of Muslims that can muster the courage to leave; but they need not apply at the Left for help, is the message. [2]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while making ridiculous charges about an impending phantom coup by the far Christian right, or a Catholic theocratic dictatorship emanating from the Vatican that will plunge the world in a prolonged era of darkness. It is a feeble attempt to collate Christianity with Islam, a favourite Leftist pastime. [3]
On the other hand, when worries as expressed by a movement as the SIOE, theirs fears are dismissed as xenohysteria, racism and Islamophobia and sometimes - a case in point is the Mayor of Brussels - even as criminals.

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while a false discussion is raging on Intelligent Design versus Darwin's Theory of Evolution. Any options other than these two, are a priori excluded from the debate. Darwin's unproved theory provides the Left with the 'scientific' basis for their atheist ideology. Which explains the fanaticism and the dogmatism with which they've been clinging to it since 1880 and why Charles Darwin has been included in the Marxist pantheon. [4]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while decrying those who come out against it as racists, Fascists and Nazis in the most vile racist, Fascist and Nazistic terms possible, removing the evidence within 24 hours to avoid detection. These 'Ministries of Information' are actively harassing and closing down websites and weblogs. This undesirable development has to do with the Postmodern Leftist view, that everybody (with the exception of the members of the White Patriarch tribe [1]) is right from his or her particular perspective, rendering all forms of critique a humiliation, no person should have to endure. This leads to intolerance, which leads to more dictatorial attitudes. Immunity from criticism has almost become a human right! [5]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while making common cause with Turkey and the Turkish immigrant electorate in denying the historical fact of the Armenian holocaust. While Germany has gone through a painful, decades long process of national acceptance and conciliation with regard to World War II (Japan in still working on it), Turkey is allowed to duck the past and get away with genocide. It is a shame and an embarrassment! [6]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while increasingly siding with antisemites of various hue against the state of Israel, in defiance of the historical realities, the protected rights of Arab minorities living within Israel's borders and the primacy of the rule of law in that country, even to the point of endangering its own defenses against terrorist attacks. [7]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while engaging in mutual appreciation relationships with Iran, Syria, the Cuban dictatorship, and the regime of Hugo Chavez in Venezuela, to name but a few. This is in keeping with the general Leftist tendency of apologising Marxist dictatorships, no matter how many victims have ensued. [8]
Instead the Left prefer making false accusations against a friend and ally - the American administration - of having killed 2,000 innocent people in cold blood for political gain, and in doing so give credence to irrational conspiracy theories that defile the memory of the victims of 9/11. For the Left it is easier to deal with conspiracies that they can control, than with the reality of having cold hearted murderers in our midst.

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while apologising and/or denying terrorism (case need both at the same time!). A short term state of denial is understandable and healthy, but at a certain point reality has to set in. Confronted with the dilemma to hold those responsible to account at the risk of provoking Muslim wrath, they chose to project their anger on to their own governments, who as a consequence are painted hateful, divisive, full of vitriol and bile, bigoted, intolerant and hatemongering. [9]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while simultaneously denouncing 'eternal truths' and 'dogmas' in the face of their unshaken belief in Human Rights and democracy. [10]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while simultaneously undermining the opposition's endeavours towards the dissemination of freedom and democracy whenever the opportunity presents itself. [11]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, while reviving a pernicious ideology that has negatively influenced global politics since the philosopher Rousseau published his position on egalitarian collectivism. This school of thought has gone through many cultural and political guises, from Romanticism to Communism and National Socialism, from cultural Marxism to its latest incarnation, Islamic Leftism (or Leftist Islamism). Estimated number of victims to date: 110 million. [12]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, but even after the fall of the Soviet Union, Marxism has never conceded defeat. The subversion program that aims at destructing the West from within was completely forgotten, while in fact it was secretly ongoing and is now nearing completion. [13]

- The Left may say they too want freedom and Roman Law defended against encroaching theocracy, but you are actively foisting the morality of your ideology onto people of other persuasions - either by the soft pressure of political correctness, or by furthering legislation to that effect. It turns otherwise law abiding citizens into criminals, should they feel the need to assert their consciences. There is a word for that: it's tyranny. [14]

In spite of vehement Leftist denial, each of us, Left, Right and mainstream, today stands at a major cross roads in human history. Will you follow the Left into a post-democratic era under crypto Islamic Leftism?

This is the reality we face today: a prospect that is in the making as we speak. Europe is not only morally and culturally sick, it is also literally, demographically 'dying' thanks to Cultural Marxism's 'non family planning' and the rest of the "progressive" moral subversion program [12].

Or, are we re-taking the road that has made us who we are? A choice for true Enlightenment: liberty, mutually beneficial free market capitalism, universal equality, limited government for and by the people, equal chances for all mature, responsible individuals on this continent, that came into being through Greco-Roman and Judeo-Christian values, on which the present unequaled prosperity, freedom and human rights rest?

Will we finally tell the collectivist pocket potentates where they get off? That enough is enough! Collectivism - be it Leftist, Rightist or Islamic - is mutually exclusive with individual freedom.

You, our nice, mainstream Leftist friends, need to be educated about the ideology you keep so close to your heart. You need to know that it isn't about "being nice towards working class people at the expense of rich fat cats"; just as multiculturalism isn't about "being nice to immigrants". It is a covert means to redistribute power and rights at the expense of Western civilization as we know it. It weakens and distracts us. The diabolical ploy has long been exposed as the cynical excuse for the power grab that it is: power for power's sake!

My friends, your denial of the reality of terrorism is but the last drop ... your irresponsible attitude in the face of a crucial moment in time urges me to declare that there's a line in the sand for you too! The time of muddling through with 'Left Light' must be over. Make the choice for freedom now while you can! If you are willing to do that, there will be a coalition and together we can try to stem the tide that you have unleashed through your brainless idealism.

Lux et Libertas,
Cassandra.

A Line in the Sand: Brussels 9/11

In yesterday's post on Islamic designs emanating from Albania, on Kosovo for starters, we have spoken of the line in the sand of the Kosovo Polje. While Islamization is taking the West by stealth, it would appear that the process in Kosovo, being played out since the eighties of the last century, took more overt modes of operation.

Little did the West know - or even care - what happened behind "the Iron Curtain", the place where Yugoslavia resided. That may also have been the reason the public was so easily hoodwinked by the unfolding effects of 4th Generation Warfare, viz. spinning the facts into favourable public perceptions, a trick the Socialists By The Third Way (viz. Messrs Clinton & Blair c.s.) have elevated to a form of fine art. I will come back to this shortly in another post, but right now I'd like to showcase Europe's line in the sand, because there always is sooner or later... a line in the sand.

The question is, where, when and how? Where? Well, for one in Denmark, the country that hosted the Mohammed cartoon row, causing all that Muslim rage and indignation. On the initiative of Danish political party SIAD (Stop the Islamization of Denmark) Europe's indigenous grievances are to be taken to Brussels. A Europe wide demo is to be be staged on 9/11. I'm not sure what that date means: American style 11th of September, a symbolic if dramatic choice indeed, or the European way of indicating the 9th of November? I hope that will be cleared up.

The SIOE (Stop Islamization of Europe) site further clarifies that "researchers at the University of Copenhagen, after conducting population studies, have calculated that the ethnic Danes (the original population) will become a very small minority in their own country by the end of this century." This is true for a great many European countries.

While politicians, from the ill-informed to the naive, from the KGB ideologically demoralized baby-boomers now in power, to the plain evil and treacherous - urging unwilling indigenous populations to submit and integrate themselves into the Muslim culture - the character of the continent is in the process of being changed forever beyond any recognition.

The Reverend Monseigneur Georg Gänswein, Pope Benedict XVI's private secretary, in a recent interview with the Süddeutsche Zeitung Magazin warns Europe not to underestimate the dangers of the increasing Islamization. He underlines that the persecution of Christians in the Dar-al-Islam has increased dramatically. And according to repeated assertions issued by the president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the count-down for the destruction of Israel has begun.

"The dangers associated with a changing identity of Europe may not be ignored out of erroneous considerations. The Pope's Regensburger speech was supposed to work against a certain naivety." Personally I don't see it any longer in that favourable, innocent light, having gone from naivety to conceit and plain treason. "Erroneous considerations" probably being Ideologically Correct Silence or possibly, the Postmodern (Neo Marxist, relativist, subjectivist) fallacy of holding one culture as good as any other.

The SIOE site posts an article - a cry for help really - by French philosopher and secondary school teacher Robert Redecker, first published in Le Figaro on 19th September 2006. It is just one of many stories of Europeans, exercising their right of free speech, only to see it answered by threats against their lives: fatwas setting them on the run in the own countries, even to the point of protective custody, as was the case with Geert Wilders and Ayaan Hirsi Ali in the Netherlands.

Dr Sanity's psychological analysis - always insightful - is particularly fruitful the last days. Those still at a loss what moves our Muslim brothers and sisters might be well informed by reading the following joint efforts by the entire Sanity Squad:

- A Deer in the Headlights;

- The Ring of Power;

- Paranoia and Projection in the Arab World: the Externalization of Blame for Arab/Islamic Dysfunction **UPDATED**.

The problem very briefly boils down to the fact that the 'superior' faith of Islam should have brought the faithful prosperity, knowledge and riches. Instead it has rendered the opposite: it led to ignorance, poverty and squalor. Faced with the intractable dilemma between that, or giving that pernicious faith up, they now project all evil that is of their own making, externally.

If only Israel didn't exist, if there was no 'Palestinian problem' the Middle East would be a prosperous place. If only they were no Christians, Islam would rule the world. This is the reason Muslims are incapable of accepting criticism. Crisis point has been reached, it now being full blown pathological paranoia. In fact, were peace to break out tomorrow, they wouldn't know what to do with themselves. This being the reason things are unsolvable.

I don't want to leave you without sharing Dr Sanity's post of today, which particularly moved me: inspirational and beautiful, if reality weren't so bloody brutal. Here's an excerpt from "The Cost of Freedom: Fighting and defeating the new barbarians will exact a great toll. The question is, are we willing to pay it?":

"Remember how quickly the West was willing to compromise our freedom of speech in the Danish cartoon matter in order to accommodate the enemy's threats? Consider how many other accommodations many of us are willing--and eager--to make to ensure the Death-Eaters of our own world won't get angry or upset with us over anything.

"And we can't even criticize their insane religion/ideology of death without having the priests of multicultural nihilism swoop down upon us. Very soon, we will have compromised away all that matters to us for the sake of "peace" (but which is really a sort of voluntary enslavement enforced via a societal suicide pact); and in the end, we will no longer have either our precious freedom, nor will we have peace.

"Good people sleep peaceably in their beds at night only because rough men stand ready to do violence on their behalf."

Note for the Greek readership: The 9/11 demo organization SIOE has let it be known it seeks volunteers in Greece for translation and P.R. work. If interested please leave a comment, detailing name and email address.

Of Sick Games, Dangerous Asymmetrics and Demographics

It's a bit of a mixed bag today, mostly covered by the press from hell.

 - "Church threatens legal action over 'sick' Sony game which 'desecrates' cathedral"
Sony stands accused by Church of England clergy of desecrating Manchester Cathedral after using the place of worship, without permission, as the backdrop to an ultra-violent computer game. A Dutch media outlet picks up the story (probably the low season has started to kick in) and heads "Church of England upset about a little game". The diminutive and the postmodern inverted commas trivialize the alleged qualification of the 'sickness' as well as the game itself, while in 'desecrates' they serve the purpose of throwing into doubt if such a thing really exists: isn't it all a gross exaggeration posed by hysterical Christians?

It reminds me of the comments of a Euro Commissioner a few months ago, who assumed the role of film critic. She derided the American production "The Departed" - covered by the freedom of expression, if not artistic licence - for its 'violence'. Apparently virtual violence from American sources is much worse than produced by Japanese. Ah, the selective indignation of the postmodern establishment and the overt game of deriding organised Christian faith in the press! And so our opinions are manipulated.

- The Los Angeles Times exploits and misuses Pope Benedict's criticism of the Iraq war for its own purposes. In "On Iraq, pope's message to Bush is quiet but firm" (which is an invention in contradiction of their own words further down the article: "Benedict did not use Bush's visit to make public remarks of substance and instead chose to deliver his message in private") the reporters state: "Benedict has been vocal in his opposition to bloodshed in the Middle East, singling out the Iraq war in this year's Easter message ...".

Actually, Pope Benedict XVI in his Easter message, worked his way down the entire list of the world's trouble spots. Instead, it was the press that singled out Iraq from that list!

- South Africa's IOL, with the intrepid headline "Palestinians 'take fight' to Israelis" is reporting on the brazen attack by a disguised Israeli army jeep on the Kissufim crossing, a fortified army position. Jerusalem Post clarifies that the hapless disguise of the car, with the letters TV taped on it, attracted attention of the Israeli soldiers since journalists do not usually drive so close to the security fence. A Palestinian spokesman admitted the raiders meant to snatch a soldier, but the attempt was foiled when IAF helicopters arrived.

The asymmetric warfare of the Palestinians could easily have backfired, as we have seen prior to last year's Lebanon war as a result of the abduction of an IDF soldier. It seems the Palestinian cause is well worth the risk of a few Palestinian lives. On top of that, after ambulances being used in attacks, press vehicles have now become also suspect. Which means that Palestinian lives are at stake as the former are checked for fighters and explosives, and that in the latter case the press are being hampered in their pet project of bringing the Palestinian cause to the world. In today's climate of emotion over reasonable arguments, in both cases the Israelis get blamed, while the Palestinians shoot themselves in the foot.

- Dutch Elsevier Magazine's Women's section carries a column on the lengths some people will go to in order to conceive: "It is actually possible to live without children, you know", taunts the columnist. Holland hasn't woken up yet to the fact that this attitude is the reason, that millions of Muslims from Turkey and Morocco are uprooted from their rural agricultural or pastoral base, into a society that is overly permissive, postmodern and post-industrialized, so as to broaden the tax base to pay for the columnist's pension in twenty years time.

In "Liberty for Social Security" in the series "Neo-Totalitarianism" we concluded that immigration is the Socialists solution to the problems caused by Socialist policies. It will have grave consequences for the future. The impending demographic annihilation is being hushed up, and very few people have as yet woken up to the fact.

Refuge within the Western hemisphere will just land you in another pickle: here's Ann Coulter's view from America. The similarities are striking! Anybody got any data on New Zealand's Southern Island of late?

How existential demographic imbalances can become the Israelis as well as the Serbs in Kovoso can attest to: of what once was the Serbian heartland, today only ten percent remain, fighting for their culture and way of life, a tiny enclave beleaguered by an assertive Muslim majority.

In Israel P.M. Olmert spends billions for Jerusalem, amidst warnings of a Palestinian demographic threat to the capitol, saying Hamas could take over the city without as much as firing a shot. I can do better than that: given time, large parts of Europe will be added to that inheritance, The Netherlands almost certainly in the vanguard of that development.

Of Degeneracy, Megalomania and other Anomalies

Today's range of current affairs subjects may differ wildly, but they have one thing in common: Culture War.

After failed attempts to establish a political party for pederasts, and the marketing of sex toys for Mother's Day (what can possibly be wrong with that?!), the Dutch broadcasting society that successfully brought televised sex and drug use education to the nation, is now pushing through a reality game show in which first prize is ... a kidney transplant! Wow, how progressive and liberal can a country possibly get without going to the dogs entirely? Answer: not very.

Let's put it in another way: this country is beyond immoral; it has long passed amoral; it has in effect become a moral black hole! As a consequence, and to make my point, ninety percent will have no idea what I'm on about!

The latest exercise in indifference and contempt for human life has resulted in the headlines "Baby suffocated in car", in two separate incidents of 'forgetfulness' in the Netherlands and in Belgium. Good night!

The good news is, Labour, the party we have to thank for furthering so much of the above, is on the brink of collapse! I could have told them that their boy wonder, Wouter Bos comes across as the cold-hearted, vain, unprincipled, technocrat that he is: a second Ad Melkert. People can sense fake even through the screen of a television. That's why the former Maoist competitor, Jan Marijnissen of the Socialist Party may be a totally misguided idealist, I'd buy a second hand car from him any day, as opposed to Bos whom I wouldn't even trust with the collection of my garbage.
CNN is reporting: Guantanamo detainee 'kills self'. Can anyone explain the function of these inverted commas, suggesting ... what ... foul play?

On to some more serious stuff now, as Venezuela requires our attention. The compassionate Leftist strongman of the proletariat, voted into power for a second time with some sixty percent of the vote as validated beyond doubt by the worst president in United States history, after the best of Marxist traditions is well on his way to megalomaniac totalitarianism. The choice for learning things the hard way seems to be a common human trait. Read here how key institutions have now been brought under Chávista control: ten of the twelve TV stations, the judiciary, the military.

John Allen of The National Catholic Reporter is having some fun with Chávez' "Cubanization policies" that are reflecting the spirit of "the greatest Socialist in history", viz. our Lord Jesus Christ. Apparently Pope Benedict's finer philosophical and theological points on Liberation Theology are lost on the Chávez' household, as might be expected. Enter the Second World War, Adolf Hitler and the Anti Christ, which just goes to show that even the saintly men in Rome can be sorely tested.

Asked Tomas Sancio of Venezuelan Politics Blog what we can do to help the situation in his country: "Write, write and write, that's what we can do, hoping that search engines and public opinion can read our opinions. Providing explanations on why we think totalitarianism is happening now. Opinions and arguments do count. The Venezuelan government pays people to lobby on its behalf (I know the name of one French man that was hired to do that job). Foreign press has for years given Chávez the benefit of the doubt. Hopefully, we can provide our grain of sand to overcome the propaganda."

Yes, the press from hell would be involved, wouldn't they? As they are in furthering the Marxist multicultural agenda as set out by the irrational, totalitarian Unholy Alliance of Islam and the Left in the boycott of Israel. After the 35,000 members of the British National Union of Journalists (NUJ) found it in themselves to declare a boycott against Israel, yesterday also Britain's largest professional body of lecturers (UCU) called upon its 120,000 members to join an international boycott of all Israeli academic institutions.

Israel is going the way of South Africa: singled out for boycott against Apartheid (the worst president in U.S. history has set the tone with a book title turned misnomer), while all measure of barbarism, suppression and crimes against humanity are apologized in the name of Marxist good intentions. Lately I'm having déjà vues from the 1970's.

Apart from the fact that we obviously have the Unholy Alliance here at work, I think we are getting beyond bias now, into the realms of open war fare on the part of Britain's multicultural bastions. Another way of seeing it, is an assault on an independent state by denying its right and first duty of protecting its citizens against terrorism. Put yet in another way: the 'right to commit insurgency' of a virulent minority outweighs the state's prime duty to protect the majority. How does this florid example fit into the transnational progressive agenda of undermining the legitimacy of the nation state?

Let's wrap this up with some good news, the U.N. Security Council has passed a resolution on the creation of an international tribunal to try suspects in the assassination of former Lebanese Prime Minister Rafik Hariri. If the Syrians hoped pressure could be exerted by unleashing the international band of marauders of Fatah Islam on Lebanon, these hopes are now truly dashed.

Biding our Time

If things seem a little uninspired lately it's because we're working on an in-depth series of posts regarding the Neo-com story. We've dug out some insightful and at times disconcerting new information on the subject, which is to be the next main political development in postmodern history.
Therefore today again assorted news items:

- Ominous news is emerging from Pakistan, a Muslim country with a strong strain of the fundamental variety, a nuclear power, a country with uninhabitable mountain areas under Taliban rule, and a military strongman as President who seems to be losing it. An interesting article from Canada's National Post.

- CNN is reporting that the Lebanese security forces are doing battle with Sunni jihadist operatives near the Nahr al-Bared refugee camp: Islamic militants, security forces battle in Lebanon. Jerusalem Post is reporting the possibility of Syrian involvement, and thinks it knows why: Analysis: Why might Syria wish to sow chaos in Lebanon now?

Not reported by the Western media:

- Israeli Army vows to operate till Hamas surrenders
- Qassam hits house in Eshkol town
- Barrage continues: 16 Qassams hit western Negev

Orwell's Press from Hell

I may be one of a dying breed: call me peculiar, but I like to form an independent opinion, based on fullness of information, on my own - thank you very much!

Considering the postmodern press is doing our thinking for us by predigesting and preselecting the news as they see fit, I might as well open up a independent press agency here and make a day-job out of screening their omissions and censoring. I fear however I am already otherwise engaged.

I do however intend to nail Orwell's Infernal Journalism to the doorpost of hell whenever the opportunity presents itself! Such posts shall be announced, thus:

Israel and the P.A., already problem areas due to the overt anti Israeli media bias displayed by amongst others Britain's 35,000 strong membership of the National Union of Journalists (btw unheard of in the history of the press!), present today's focus. Here goes ...

... what the Western press didn't say:

- 20 Qassam rockets launched at Israel on Thursday
- Qassams ignored abroad
- 3 wounded as Qassam hits Sderot home
- Hamas blames world, Israel and Arabs

And it's not just me who's peculiar that way: here's yesterday's post from "Barking Moonbat Early Warning System"!

While we are on the subject of eccentricity, yesterday the world saw the first reports of a new digital application: cyber warfare, of Russia against "Soviet era ally", Estonia! It takes some getting used to by NATO: at present they don't consider it an Article 5 offence, which would normally kick the Musketeer Doctrine (all for one, one for all) into gear. Russia meanwhile, is peeved, denies as yet unpronounced charges, which it qualifies as "serious", calls for substantiation. Old days live on ...

Iran Day: Expressions of Fear on E.U. Index Expurgatorius

Given my complete lack of comprehension of the postmodern obsession with trivia, of which the Eurovision Crimes against Culture is a prime example, for the sake of completeness I briefly need to revert to yesterday's post, dealing with the subject. It is unbelievable how serious this nonsense is taken in some political circles, but that isn't what concerns me at present.

What does, is the depth and intensity the Eurabian self-censorship has taken. And it evidently extends to Iran. Let's not fool ourselves here anymore in respect of freedom of expression. These days you have to fine-comb all news outlets so as not to miss the finer points.

Only just now I discovered that the Israeli Eurovision entry "Push the Button" was disqualified from the song contest for expressing fear of an Iranian nuclear device! Though not officially so, the banning of the Jewish contribution was no doubt done with reference to Islamophobia, a state of mind on the E.U. Index Expurgatorius.

So they do understand that phobia means fear, not hatred! Europe and the mainstream media (MSM) are far braver than previously presumed! These aren't pocket size versions of Neville Chamberlain! They are taunting the sources of terror, communicating that 'we are not afraid of your bombs ... suppressing all expressions of fear is just the E.U. way of fighting terrorism!

After the abduction of the fifteen British sailors and the questionable way in which it was handled by the U.K. government, we are currently to understand there are more people missing. Take this BBC article about the 'lawful' arrest of Iranian-American academic Haleh Esfandiari on trumped up charges of spying for Israel. It mentions in passing that also a journalist, Parnaz Azima working for the US-funded Radio Farda, has gone missing. Since the Gulf War we know how the 'lawful' taking of hostages works.

A 9th May article on Opinion Journal argues that Iran's economic crisis should not be underestimated. I can recommend reading it: it's a shocker! And that, in spite of the E.U. economic assistance that ultimately means subsidizing Hizbollah's and Hamas' terror campaigns. On top of that"the mullahs are betting that short-term financial interests will prevent Europe from defending itself and acting against an existential threat to Israel."

With Iran also throwing its weight about in the region, things could hardly get any worse now that the two paranoid, nuclear rogue states are making it official! Only yesterday Reuters reported that "Iran and North Korea have agreed to step up bilateral contacts, an Iranian news agency said on Friday, signaling closer ties between two countries."

As the brain drain and the economic situation worsen Mahmoud Ahmadinejad needs the Jewish and American scapegoats to divert attention and to maintain a semblance of unity in the country. The Jerusalem Post recently provided interesting insights into the psychological mechanisms within the Islamic Republic and what it means: "For Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Israel's destruction is the final step in the realization of the Islamic revolution. He certainly must believe in his own propaganda, and he means what he says."

At which point we come full circle with the E.U. indexing any expressions of fear of an Iranian nuclear device: 'Bring - It - On!'

Another Victory of Unreason over Reality

We live in blessed times. Man is making great strides forward. After we have done away with the shocking notion that one religion or culture might actually be superior to another if only because one stayed barren while another caused civilization as we know it; and even the regrettable scientific theory of the existence of objective truth has been discredited, thus enabling us to commit oppressive ideas as 'lies', 'wrong', 'mistake' and 'error' to eternity; today we can celebrate that neutrality as vital prerequisite for professional journalism has finally fallen in the name of victory of unreason over reality.

That the mainstream media (MSM) have become a by-word for political bias was an accusation which - till today - was always vehemently denied. Yet any owner of a bit of an open mind reading the papers, watching television or the Internet, could come to the conclusion that the dice are loaded on the left hand side.

As neutrality and emotional distance once were the trademarks of professional journalism, one would have thought that the allegation of bias is a serious one. Yet the BBC has gone within the course of one year, from the standard bearer of the trade to one of the worst offenders against it.

Since anti-Americanism re-took hold - as it usually does to some degree with a Republican President in the White House - even the pretence of impartial reporting got less and less with each passing year that George W. Bush has been in office.

As former neoconservative politicians turn into Gerbil Mix wherever the opportunity presents itself, U.S. ally Israel is at present singled out by Britain's 35,000 strong membership of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ) as a particularly savage country, as it sits in an ocean of human and social injustice. But in this vast field of choice in the Middle East, the NUJ has declared a boycott against America's ally.

Just say No! to Israeli agricultural produce, they demand, echoing former U.S. President Carter's ludicrous accusation of "Apartheid!". Ludicrous, as the essence of Apartheid is discrimination on the basis of race: the author was the first to deny that this was the case, thereby declaring the title of his own book null and void.

The luminaries and intelligentsia that make up the Leftist elite, likely subscribers of the Euston Manifesto and other such offences against reason, en masse adhere to "multiculturalism, that university-nurtured version of cultural relativism that has now firmly ensconced itself wherever politically correct college-educated elitescongregate, which is to say just about everywhere." Needless to say that the vast majority of the NUJ are likely self-proclaimed members of said elite.

Another trait of this côterie is the blood-chilling cynicism that is the result of the disappointment after communism failed to live up to its earlier promises to put an end, once and for all, to Western civilization. After a decade or as so of brooding over this unsatisfactory state of affairs, a particularly nasty piece of irrationality was dreamed up: relativism, accompanied by its ugly stepsister multiculturalism.

A lot has been said in these pages about these postmodern pseudo philosophies, but the fact of the matter is, at heart, these fallacies to a large extent cloak cowardice in a shroud of intellectualism. It sounds as an excuse, but Clifford Day in his article "Hacks or Flacks?" on the  site of the Foundation for Defense of Democracies describes why the NUJ seems to be caving in to intimidation:

"Johnson's kidnapping (by Palestinians), the abduction and forced conversions of Fox journalists Steve Centanni and Olaf Wiig, the video-taped decapitation of Daniel Pearl - these and other atrocities are intimidating a growing list of journalists."

He sarcastically concludes that "with this as backdrop, perhaps the NUJ boycott against Israel should be seen less as bias and more as a kind of tribute - a sacrifice of journalistic integrity in the hope it may appease the editors who matter most, those who cut not with red pens but with butcher knives, those who produce not packages for the evening news but snuff videos for the Internet."

I say, if you haven't got the spine to uphold your own standard of professionalism against your personal political activism, go find a job where your lack of character and spirit is less required. Go restock store shelves, or something!

History calling, and Yes to an Islamic State in the Balkans

"These people are so hard-line I think it doesn't even merit the word 'hard-line'. They're way beyond that."
Simon Henderson of the Washington Institute for Near East Policy, asked about Iran's Revolutionary Guard, currently having control over the 15 British hostages.
Question: Has anybody looked lately what else is going on, perhaps in the nuclear department?

is vying with another remarkable revelation:

"The Middle-East is going through a serious change, which has been sharpened since the Second Lebanon War. This process has brought about a change in the Arab frame of mind. Israel is no longer considered their biggest problem. This is a revolutionary thought."
Israel's Prime Minister Ehud Olmert
Question: Is it all Shia or just Iran's increasing power politics that's currently taking up all the attention? Or alternatively, could it be The Great Arab Unraveling? That would be good news towards the Eurabian Empire!

In more remarkable news:

- Bones of Missing Greek-Cypriots Unearthed
Bones believed to belong to more than 30 Greek-Cypriots, who have gone missing since the Turkish invasion in 1974, were found in Kyrenia, northern Cyprus, said a member of the Committee on Missing Persons, further claiming that more bones, possibly belonging to Greek-Cypriots, may also come to light.

- Euro-Parliament demands semi-autonomous Islamic state in its heartland
The European Parliament yesterday overwhelmingly backed U.N.'s Martti Ahtisaari plan for a 'supervised' autonomy for Kosovo. The E.U.'s foreign policy chief Xavier Solana called the bloc's planned development project in the province "the most important E.U. mission in history." (!)

A brief check on EuOberserver's site learns that the E.P. also have adopted a related report demanding that the disputed province of Kosovo be granted "supervised sovereignty." Said report was drawn up by Dutch Green MEP Joost Lagendijk. He expressed satisfaction over the fact that the E.P. chose to send an unambiguous signal to E.U. capitals, while saying it is the "first step" to a "united Europe" over the Kosovo issue.

Meanwhile Greek newspaper Kathimerini reports that Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said yesterday that the U.N.'s plan will fail, if pursued.

Commentary: It may be noted that said Mr Lagendijk is a staunch federalist and supports the earliest possible membership of Turkey despite - or because of - its appalling human rights record. It goes without saying that all this has nothing to do with Mr Lagendijk's private life. He is married to a Turkish woman.
It is also not explained why we should be looking forward to a semi-autonomous Islamic state in the heart of Europe, in the Balkans no less. Those unfamiliar with the area could picture themselves a sort of Tora Bora, a former tribal no-go area like Pakistan's Waziristan, smaller but just as rugged, wild and with the same tendency towards anarchy and life in accordance with the prevailing code of honour.
It may also be noted that the U.N. does not have the authority to declare any country's independence. Reason why we see all the subterfuge and underhandedness.
